USS Indianapolis (LCS-17) will be a {{sclass-|Freedom|littoral combat ship|0}} littoral combat ship of the United States Navy. She will be the fourth vessel in the navy named after Indianapolis, Indiana.[6]

Marinette Marine is building Indianapolis at their Marinette, Wisconsin shipyard.[7][8] She will be assigned to Littoral Combat Ship Squadron Two.
