The band developed "a form of 'ethno-jazz' blending traditional tunes with modern improvisation".[1] Another description of its style is "heavy punk meets rock with folk thrown in".[2] Trigon's first CD, The Moldovan Wedding in Jazz, described as "a milestone in so-called world music",[1] was released in 1993. Later CDs Opt-–i–mistic, Seven Steps and Autumn Visit featured the Bulgarian kaval flute.[3] References1. ^1 {{cite book|author=John Shepherd|title=Continuum encyclopedia of popular music of the world|url=https://books.google.com/books?id=5RUKAQAAMAAJ|year=2005|publisher=Continuum|isbn=978-0-8264-7436-0|page=57}} 2. ^{{cite book|title=Global Rhythm|url=https://books.google.com/books?id=fa04AQAAIAAJ|volume=11|year=2002|publisher=World Marketing Incorporated|page=63}} 3. ^1 2 {{cite book|author1=Frieder Monzer|author2=Timo Ulrichs|title=Moldova: Mit Chișinău, ganz Bessarabien und Transdnestrien|url=https://books.google.com/books?id=Ixp0CwAAQBAJ&pg=PA75|date=January 2016|publisher=Trescher Verlag|isbn=978-3-89794-339-1|page=75|language=de}} External links
