释义 |
The Vandorf Sideroad CNR Bridge is a railway bridge in the community of Vandorf, in the town of Whitchurch-Stouffville, Ontario, Canada. The bridge forms part of the Canadian National Railway line in the area and crosses Woodbine Avenue diagonally at Vandorf Sideroad.[1] The concrete bridge abutments were built in 1950, and the builder's plate on the bridge confirms the steel deck was constructed in 1952 by the Central Bridge Company in Trenton, Ontario. The bridge is within CN's Bala subdivision, and is mapped at approximately 302 metres above sea level.[2] References1. ^{{cite news |author= |title=Vandorf-Preston Lake Secondary Plan|url= http://www.townofws.ca/en/residents/resources/Documents/Official_Plan/WS_Official_Plan_Section_13.pdf |newspaper=Official document |location= |publisher= Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville|date=September 9, 2011 |accessdate= 2014-03-03}} {{coord|43.9976|N|79.3912|W|display=title}}2. ^{{cite techreport |first=Bill |last=Hjelholt |author2= |title=GO Transit Richmond Hill Layover Facility EA and Preliminary Design |number= ITC-2006-EN-002|institution= AECOM Canada|year=August 2009|chapter=3.1.1 3.1.1 Physiography, Geology and Topography|url=http://www.gotransit.com/public/en/docs/ea/richmondhill/RichmondHill_EA.pdf }} 3 : Railway bridges in Ontario|Canadian National Railway bridges|Bridges completed in 1952 |
