It is located in the Ukrainian Carpathians, within the limits of the Eastern Beskids. The population of village is 1452 persons. Local government – Volosiankivska village council. [1] Volosiankivska village council includes village Khashchovania and Yalynkuvate. The first written mention of Volosyanka which dates from the year 1572. [2] GeographyVillage are located in the valley of the rivers Slavka River and Yalynkuvata River. West of the village are the vertices Vysokyy Verh[3] ({{convert|1242|m|foot}}), Plischka ({{convert|1032.2 |m|foot}}), Mount Yarochysche ({{convert|987|m|foot}}) and Mount Yalyna ({{convert|1164.5 |m|foot}}). In the south is Mount Ilsa ({{convert|1064.5 |m|foot}}). The village Volosyanka is situated in the {{convert| 145 |km|mi}} from the regional center Lviv, {{convert| 36 |km|mi}} from the district center Skole, and {{convert| 10 |km|mi}} from Slavske.[4] AttractionsIn this village there are an architectural monument of national importance.
