Frank Stewart (dates and places of birth and death missing), was a silver mining operator in Storey County in western Nevada, who served as a Democrat in the Nevada State Senate from 1876 to 1880.[1] In 1969, the actor Dick Simmons was cast as Stewart in the episode "How to Beat a Badman" of the syndicated television series Death Valley Days, based on true stories of the American West. In the story line, Stewart is determined to gain at a bargain price a silver claim being worked by two young former outlaws, Johnny McDonald and Jack Small, played by Tom Heaton and Scott Graham, respectively, who are trying to put their past behind them. Donna Baccala plays McDonald's fiance, a cafe cook, who tries to keep him within the law.[2] {{Portal|Nevada|Business and Economics|Politics}}References1. ^{{cite web|url=http://www.leg.state.nv.us/Division/Research/Publications/NVLegislators/NVLegislators.pdf|title=Nevada legislators, 1861-2015|publisher=leg.state.nv.us|accessdate=July 15, 2015}} {{DEFAULTSORT:Stewart, W.
