The large clapboard house is a good example of a Georgian-inspired sea island cotton plantation. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on July 23, 1974.[1][3] References1. ^1 {{NRISref|version=2010a}} {{National Register of Historic Places in South Carolina}}{{DEFAULTSORT:Windsor Plantation}}{{CharlestonCountySC-NRHP-stub}}2. ^{{Cite web | last = Bull | first = Elias B. | coauthor =| title = Windsor Plantation | work = National Register of Historic Places - Nomination and Inventory | date = January 15, 1973 | url = http://www.nationalregister.sc.gov/charleston/S10817710078/S10817710078.pdf | format = pdf | accessdate = 8 December 2012}} 3. ^{{cite web|title=Windsor Plantation, Charleston County (S.C.
