Each of the six rounds is based on either a question and answers on a chosen subject or a dexterity type challenge. In the question and answer rounds, one member of the family will ask the questions whilst another member of the family attempts to answer them. The floor made of slabs in LED is divided into two parts: one red (right) and one green (left). When the time starts, the gauge will slowly and continuously tilt towards the red edge. Each good answer advances the gauge towards the green edge. There are three possibilities:
