The Workplace Relations Commission (formerly the Equality Tribunal) is an Irish government-operated quasi-judicial forum which decides cases of alleged discrimination under Irish equality legislation.[1] It was established under the Employment Equality Act 1998, and its capacity has been enhanced under the Employment Equality Acts 1998–2008, Equal Status Acts 2000–2008 and Pensions Acts 1990–2008. This has been replaced by the Workplace Relations Commission in 2015.
