World Physical Therapy Day is observed to generate awareness about the crucial contribution physical therapists make to society, enabling people to be mobile, well, and independent. This is observed on 8 September.^[1] This day was designated in 1996 by the World Confederation for Physical Therapy.^[2]^[3]
