She later represented Russia at the Miss Universe 2014 pageant. Life and careerEarly lifeAlipova was born in Taraz (then Dzhambul), Kazakhstan, and later moved to Balakovo, Russia. She is a cum laude graduate of a lyceum specializing in mathematics and physics. Alipova continued her studies at the Moscow Power Engineering Institute, where she became a heat power engineer and a certified Russian-English interpreter. Before beginning her studies, she took part in the development of a noise absorber for an electric power plant operated by Mosenergo. PageantryAlipova represented Balakovo in the Miss Russia 2014 competition, where she was crowned the winner.[1] She later represented Russia at Miss Universe 2014. Although considered to be a strong candidate by pageant fans and several sites, she failed to place in the Top 15. Alipova wore an Elie Saab gown during the preliminary competition.
