Just turned 50 he was nominated for the position as Ambassador of the European Delegation to Uzbekistan. There is only one diplomat of Bulgaria before, who also became an ambassador of the European Union – the former Prime Minister Filip Dimitrov, currently the EU-Ambassador to Georgia.[4] See also
