The economy of the territory of the ZEC is based primarily on fishing. GeographyLa Grande-Rivière (The Great River) flows from north to south and empties into the Baie des Chaleurs to Grande-Rivière. The territory of the ZEC extend on {{convert|23|km}} on the shore of the river. La Grande Rivière has 55 pools for the reproduction of salmon, which are divided into three sectors and three other non-quota. These false are identified along the road by a special dial.
