Zomaron (Zomaron Inc.) has been an award-winning fintech company providing payment processing solutions to thousands of businesses and registered charities across North America. Zomaron offers personalized solutions to allow merchants to accept debit and credit transactions as well as eCommerce payments. Now, in 2018, Zomaron is diving deeper into the world of financial technology. Zomar has introduced, Zomaron Fundraising, an omni-channel solution for the nonprofit sector. The platform features an unattended donation kiosk, an online donation portal, payment processing options, and access to software that connects them all together.

History

Zomaron started as an independent sales organization reselling payment processing solutions from big-name banks, out of CEO Tarique Al-Ansari's basement. Prior to starting Zomaron, the founders had started an online food delivery system. Quickly recognizing the pain points of the platform, it was clear that a different industry needed to be serviced. The online food delivery system was eventually sold to Just Eat, and Zomaron was founded. In December 2013 Zomaron Inc was acquired by Posera HDX,^[2] and in April 2016 was sold back to Zomaron's previous ownership.^[3]
