The Zselicszentjakab Abbey was a Benedictine monastery established at Zselicszentjakab (now Kaposszentjakab) in Somogy County in the Kingdom of Hungary in 1061.{{sfn|Berend|Laszlovszky|Szakács|2007|p=354}} Its founder was the Palatine Otto of the Győr clan.{{sfn|Engel|2001|pp=44,81}} The monastery was dedicated to the Apostle Saint James the Great.{{sfn|Csóka|1994|p=749}} The deed of the foundation of the monastery is the first extant charter issued by a nobleman in the Kingdom of Hungary.{{sfn|Engel|2001|p=39}}
