It is situated in the southern slopes of the Taurus Mountains to the east of Turkish state highway {{TUR-D|750}}. The distance to Tarsus is {{convert|35|km}} and to Mersin is {{convert|65|km}}. The population of the village was 286 as of 2012.[1] The main agricultural product of the village is grape.
