The draw for the opening round fixtures took place at the Cork Convention on 30 January 1933. The championship began on 2 April 1933 and ended on 22 October 1933. St. Finbarr's were the defending champions. Divisional sides Avondhu, Carbery and Muskerry fielded teams in the championship for the first time. On 22 October 1933, St. Finbarr's won the championship following a 6-6 to 5-0 defeat of Carrigtwohill in a replay of the final. This was their 10th championship title overall and their second title in succession.[1] ResultsFirst round{{footballbox collapsible| date = 2 April 1933 | round = First round | team1 = Ballyhea | score = 0-02 - 3-02 | team2 = Redmonds | goals1 = | goals2 = | stadium = Bishop Casey Memorial Park, Mallow | referee = }}{{footballbox collapsible | date = 9 April 1933 | round = First round | team1 = Passage | score = 2-03 - 9-02 | team2 = St. Finbarr's | goals1 = | goals2 = | stadium = Cork Athletic Grounds, Cork | referee = J Desmond }}{{footballbox collapsible | date = 30 April 1933 | round = First round | team1 = Éire Óg | score = 6-05 - 6-03 | team2 = Carbery | goals1 = | goals2 = | stadium = Bandon Sportsfield, Bandon | referee = J Kenneally (Redmonds) }}{{footballbox collapsible | date = 30 April 1933 | round = First round | team1 = University College Cork | score = 3-05 - 3-01 | team2 = St. Anne's | goals1 = | goals2 = | stadium = The Mardyke, Cork | referee = }}{{footballbox collapsible | date = 30 April 1933 | round = First round | team1 = Avondhu | score = 6-04 - 9-06 | team2 = Sarsfields | goals1 = | goals2 = | stadium = Buttevant Sportsfield, Buttevant | referee = }}{{footballbox collapsible | date = 14 May 1933 | round = First round | team1 = Blackrock | score = 0-02 - 2-06 | team2 = Carrigtwohill | goals1 = | goals2 = | stadium = The Mardyke, Cork | referee = }}{{footballbox collapsible | date = 21 May 1933 | round = First round | team1 = Muskerry | score = 3-04 - 2-05 | team2 = Glen Rovers | goals1 = | goals2 = | stadium = Blarney Sportsfield, Blarney | referee = }} Second round{{footballbox collapsible| date = 18 June 1933 | round = Second round | team1 = Mallow | score = 8-04 - 1-01 | team2 = University College Cork | goals1 = | goals2 = | stadium = Buttevant Sportsfield, Buttevant | referee = }}{{footballbox collapsible | date = 13 August 1933 | round = Second round | team1 = Redmonds | score = 2-03 - 1-05 | team2 = Éire Óg | goals1 = | goals2 = | stadium = Cork Athletic Grounds, Cork | referee = }}{{footballbox collapsible | date = 27 August 1933 | round = Second round | team1 = Muskerry | score = 1-03 - 5-04 | team2 = St. Finbarr's | goals1 = | goals2 = | stadium = The Mardyke, Cork | referee = }}{{footballbox collapsible | date = 3 September 1933 | round = Second round | team1 = Carrigtwohill | score = 2-06 - 1-06 | team2 = Sarsfields | goals1 = | goals2 = | stadium = Cork Athletic Grounds, Cork | referee = }} Semi-finals{{footballbox collapsible| date = 17 September 1933 | round = Semi-final | team1 = St. Finbarr's | score = 5-07 - 3-01 | team2 = Mallow | goals1 = | goals2 = | report = | stadium = Cork Athletic Grounds, Cork | referee = }}{{footballbox collapsible | date = 24 September 1933 | round = Semi-final | team1 = Carrigtwohill | score = 5-04 - 1-01 | team2 = Redmonds | goals1 = | goals2 = | report = | stadium = Cork Athletic Grounds, Cork | referee = }} Finals{{footballbox collapsible|date = 8 October 1933 |time = |round = Final |team1 = St. Finbarr's |score = 4-06 - 5-03 |report = |team2 = Carrigtwohill |goals1 = |goals2 = |stadium = Cork Athletic Grounds, Cork |attendance = |referee = |stack=yes }}{{footballbox collapsible |date = 22 October 1933 |time = |round = Final replay |team1 = St. Finbarr's |score = 6-06 - 5-00 |report = |team2 = Carrigtwohill |goals1 = |goals2 = |stadium = Cork Athletic Grounds, Cork |attendance = |referee = |stack=yes }} References1. ^{{cite web|url=http://www.corkpastandpresent.ie/cultureincork/sport/stfinbarrsgaaclub/stfinbarrsgaaclub1934-1965/|title=St Finbarr's GAA Club 1934–1965|publisher=Cork Past and Present website|date=|accessdate=4 November 2017|first=|last=}} {{Cork Senior Hurling Championship}} 2 : 1933 senior hurling county championships|Cork Senior Hurling Championship |
