In their third year under head coach Abe Stuber, the Cyclones compiled a 5–3–1 record (3–3 against conference opponents), tied for third place in the conference, and outscored their opponents by a combined total of 169 to 134.[1][2] They played their home games at Clyde Williams Field in Ames, Iowa.
