The 1959 Sacramento State Hornets football team represented Sacramento State College[1] during the 1959 NCAA College Division football season.

Sacramento State competed in the Far Western Conference (FWC).[2] The Hornets were led by third-year head coach Johnny Baker. They played home games at Charles C. Hughes Stadium in Sacramento, California. The team finished the season with a record of two wins and seven losses (2–7, 1–4 FWC). For the season the team was outscored by its opponents 107–222.
