The Panthers were led by head coach Don Strock in his second season and finished with a record of zero wins and ten losses (0–10). In 2008, the NCAA Division I Committee on Infractions found major violations within the football program and as such vacated the Panthers' two wins from the 2003 season.[1][2] Schedule{{CFB schedule| rankyear = 2003 |{{CFB schedule entry | date = September 6 | w/l = l | away = y | rank = | opponent = {{cfb link|year=2003|team=Indiana State Sycamores|title=Indiana State}} | site_stadium = Memorial Stadium | site_cityst = Terre Haute, IN | score = 10–13 | attend = 2,565 }} |{{CFB schedule entry | date = September 13 | w/l = l | away = y | rank = | opponent = {{cfb link|year=2003|team=Maine Black Bears|title=Maine}} | opprank = 18 | site_stadium = Alfond Stadium | site_cityst = Orono, ME | score = 14–24 | attend = 6,227 }} |{{CFB schedule entry | date = September 20 | w/l = l | rank = | opponent = {{cfb link|year=2003|team=Bethune-Cookman Wildcats|title=Bethune-Cookman}} | opprank = 7 | site_stadium = FIU Stadium | site_cityst = Miami, FL | score = 14–24 | attend = 13,123 }} |{{CFB schedule entry | date = September 27 | w/l = l | rank = | opponent = {{cfb link|year=2003|team=Carson–Newman Eagles|title=Carson–Newman}} | site_stadium = FIU Stadium | site_cityst = Miami, FL | score = 33–55 | attend = 6,707 }} |{{CFB schedule entry | date = October 4 | w/l = l | away = y | rank = | opponent = Georgia Southern | opprank = 13 | site_stadium = Paulson Stadium | site_cityst = Statesboro, GA | score = 35–37 | attend = 10,409 }} |{{CFB schedule entry | date = October 9 | w/l = l | rank = | opponent = {{cfb link|year=2003|team=Stephen F.
