The municipal election of the Brazilian city of São Paulo took place in 3 October and 31 October 2004 to elect a Mayor, a Vice Mayor and 55 City Councillors for the administration of the city. The incumbent mayor was Marta Suplicy from the Workers' Party (PT), who ran for a reelection.[2]
