The 2016 Liga Premier ({{lang-en|2016 Premier League}}) also known as the 100PLUS Liga Premier for sponsorship reasons was the 13th season of the Liga Premier, the second-tier professional football league in Malaysia.[1]

The season was held from 12 February and concluded on 22 October 2016.[1][2]

The Liga Premier champions for 2016 season was Melaka United.[1] The champions and runners-up were both promoted to 2017 Liga Super.
