There are two rounds of matches, with each round eliminating half of the teams entering that round. The successive rounds were: semi-finals and final. For each game in the plate knockout phase, a draw was followed by thirty minutes of extra time (except the final); if scores were still level there would be a penalty shoot-out to determine who progressed to the next round. {{4TeamBracket| RD1 = Semi-finals | RD2 = Final | group1 = | group2 = | seed-width = | team-width = | score-width = | RD1-seed1 = | RD1-team1 =Hougang United | RD1-score1 =2 | RD1-seed2 = | RD1-team2 =Balestier Khalsa | RD1-score2 =1 | RD1-seed3 = | RD1-team3 =Geylang International | RD1-score3 =1 | RD1-seed4 = | RD1-team4 =Warriors FC | RD1-score4 =0 | RD2-seed1 = | RD2-team1 =Hougang United | RD2-score1 =1 | RD2-seed2 = | RD2-team2 =Geylang International | RD2-score2 =2 }} Plate semi-finals{{anchor|14-0017}}{{Football box|date=25 July 2016 |time=19:30 |team1= Hougang United |score=2–1 |report=Report |team2=Balestier Khalsa |goals1=Kogure {{goal|45}} Hussain {{goal|80}} |goals2=Krištić {{goal|55}} |stadium=Jalan Besar Stadium |attendance= |referee=Jansen Foo }} {{anchor|14-0018}}{{Football box |date=25 July 2016 |time=20:00 |team1=Geylang International |score=1–0 |report=Report |team2=Warriors FC |goals1=Hartmann {{goal|90}} |goals2= |stadium=Jalan Besar Stadium |attendance= |referee=Nathan Chan }} Plate final{{anchor|14-0021}}{{Football box|date=30 July 2016 |time=17:00 |team1=Hougang United |score=1–2 |report=Report |team2=Geylang International |goals1=Kapláň {{goal|44}} |goals2=Hartmann {{goal|32}} Anuar {{goal|36}} |stadium=Jalan Besar Stadium |attendance= |referee=Ahmad A'Qashah }} StatisticsTop scorers{{updated|matches played on 30 October 2016.}}[4]
