The 2017 WNBA season was the 21st season for the San Antonio Stars franchise of the WNBA. It was also their 15th in San Antonio.

  • Erika de Souza was acquired from the Chicago Sky. [1]
  • Danielle Robinson was traded to the Phoenix Mercury. [2]
  • Isabelle Harrison was acquired from the Phoenix Mercury, with its 1st round draft pick. [2]
  • Clarissa Dos Santos was acquired from the Chicago Sky, in exchange for Astou Ndour. [2]
  • Jazmon Gwathmey was traded to the Indiana Fever, in exchange for a 2018 3rd round draft pick. [3]
  • Monique Currie was traded to the Phoenix Mercury, in exchange for Shay Murphy, Sophie Brunner, and a 3rd Round Pick in the 2018 WNBA Draft. [2]
