The 2018 Burlington mayoral election was held March 6, 2018. Incumbent mayor Miro Weinberger was elected to his third term with 48% of the popular vote.

Background

Incumbent Democratic mayor Weinberger was first elected in 2012. Progressive candidate Carina Driscoll, step-daughter of former mayor Bernie Sanders, and independent candidate Infinite Culcleasure ran to unseat the incumbent; they received 35 and 16 percent of the vote, respectively.[1][2]
