The 2018 LSU Tigers football team represents Louisiana State University in the 2018 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Tigers play their home games at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and compete in the Western Division of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). They are led by second-year head coach Ed Orgeron.

Previous season

The Tigers finished the 2017 season 9–4, 6–2 in SEC play to finish in third place in the Western Division. They were invited to the Citrus Bowl where they lost to Notre Dame.
