On April 2, 2019, the league's football operations were reportedly suspended,[1][2] and on April 4 the league released players from their contracts.[3] BackgroundTeamsFollowing the 10-week regular season, the top two teams in each conference were scheduled face each other in conference championship games, hosted by the higher seeded team.
