The annual tournament determines the conference champion of the Division I Atlantic Coast Conference for college baseball. The tournament champion will receive the league's automatic bid to the 2019 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. This is the last of 19 athletic championship events held by the conference in the 2018–19 academic year.[1] The tournament has been held every year but one since 1973, with Clemson winning ten championships, the most all-time. Georgia Tech has won nine championships, and defending champion Florida State has won eight titles since their entry to the league in 1992. Charter league member Duke, along with recent entrants Virginia Tech, Boston College, Pittsburgh, Notre Dame and Louisville have never won the event. Format and seedingThe winner of each seven team division and the top ten other teams based on conference winning percentage, regardless of division, from the conference's regular season will be seeded one through twelve. Seeds one and two are awarded to the two division winners. Teams are then divided into four pools of three teams each, with the winners advancing to single elimination bracket for the championship.[2][3] Schedule and resultsPool play{{12TeamRR-4Group| team-1-abbrev= | team-1= | team-2-abbrev= | team-2= | team-3-abbrev= | team-3= | team-4-abbrev= | team-4= | team-5-abbrev= | team-5= | team-6-abbrev= | team-6= | team-7-abbrev= | team-7= | team-8-abbrev= | team-8= | team-9-abbrev= | team-9= | team-10-abbrev= | team-10= | team-11-abbrev= | team-11= | team-12-abbrev= | team-12= |color-1= |1v5= |1v12= |1total= |color-5= |5v1= |5v12= |5total= |color-12= |12v1= |12v5= |12total= |color-2= |2v6= |2v11= |2total= |color-6= |6v2= |6v11= |6total= |color-11= |11v1= |11v6= |11total= |color-3= |3v7= |3v11= |3total= |color-7= |7v3= |7v11= |7total= |color-10= |10v3= |10v7= |10total= |color-4= |4v8= |4v9= |4total= |color-8= |8v4= |8v9= |8total= |color-9= |9v4= |9v8= |9total= }} Final{{4TeamBracket| RD1-seed1 = | RD1-team1 = | RD1-score1 = | RD1-seed2 = | RD1-team2 = | RD1-score2 = | RD1-seed3 = | RD1-team3 = | RD1-score3 = | RD1-seed4 = | RD1-team4 = | RD1-score4 = | RD2-seed1 = | RD2-team1 = | RD2-score1 = | RD2-seed2 = | RD2-team2 = | RD2-score2 = }} References{{Portal|ACC}}1. ^{{cite web|url=http://www.theacc.com/sports/2018/3/28/2018-mens-baseball-championship.aspx|publisher=Atlantic Coast Conference|title=2019 ACC Baseball Championship|accessdate=December 1, 2018}} {{2019 NCAA Division I baseball tournament navbox}}{{Atlantic Coast Conference Baseball Tournament navbox}}2. ^{{cite web|url=http://www.theacc.com/news/acc-announces-baseball-championship-expansion-format-change-10-06-2016|title=ACC Announces Baseball Championship Expansion, Format Change|publisher=Atlantic Coast Conference|accessdate=October 9, 2017|date=October 6, 2016}} 3. ^{{cite news|url=http://www.local10.com/sports/college-baseball/acc-baseball-tournament-changes-format-increases-number-of-teams|title=ACC baseball tournament changes format, increases number of teams|author=Peter Burke|date=October 7, 2016|accessdate=October 9, 2017|publisher=WPLG}} 5 : 2019 Atlantic Coast Conference baseball season|Atlantic Coast Conference Baseball Tournament|2019 in sports in North Carolina|Sports in Durham, North Carolina|Baseball in North Carolina |
