The 2019 FIBA Women's Asia Cup will be first step for the qualification for FIBA Asia and FIBA Oceania for the women's basketball tournament at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.^[1] The top eight teams will be qualified for the Asia/Oceania Pre-Qualifying Tournaments. Though already qualified as host, Japan will participate to the qualification process.^[2]
