The 2019 IAAF World Relays will be held in Yokohama, Japan from May 12 to May 13, 2019.^[1] Two new events were established for 2019 both mixed events, 2x2x400m relay and shuttle hurdles relay. The first event replaces the 4 x 800 metres race that featured at previous events.^[2]
