The 2019 Los Angeles Chargers season will be the franchise's upcoming 50th season in the National Football League (NFL), the 60th overall, the 4th in the Greater Los Angeles Area and the third under head coach Anthony Lynn. The Chargers will try to improve on their 12-4 record. It will also mark the Chargers' third and final season playing their home games at Dignity Health Sports Park, as the team will move into Los Angeles Stadium at Hollywood Park in Inglewood beginning with the 2020 season.

On January 21, the NFL announced that the Chargers will play host to the Kansas City Chiefs in the International Series at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City, as part of the team's relocation agreement. The game will be televised in the United States, with the exact date, kickoff time and network to be announced in conjunction with the release of the {{nfly|2019}} regular season schedule.^[1]
