The club will participate in the Premier League, UEFA competition, EFL Cup and FA Cup. On 28 March 2019, Ole Gunnar Solskjær became United's new permanent manager.[1] Pre-season and friendlies{{See also|2019 International Champions Cup}}United will precede their 2019–20 campaign with a tour of Australia, Singapore, China and Wales. The first two matches were announced in November 2018 with the opposition provided by Perth Glory and Leeds United in Australia.[2] On 27 March 2019, three more matches were announced to be part of the International Champions Cup with the opposition provided by Internazionale (Singapore), Tottenham Hotspur (China) and Milan (Wales).[3]
