He had been a senior official for decades, became Minister of Planning and International Cooperation during Transitional federal government (TFG). Jurile was Member of the Federal Parliament's lower house at two separate times, currently is Member of federal parliament's Upper House. He once ran for Somali Parliament speaker during Somali general elections on 2014. He also served as professor both local & International universities.
