He is the son of the popular actor-politician Ambarish and the actress Sumalatha.[1] CareerAbhishek's name was first featured as a presenter in 1995 for the film Operation Antha starring his father Ambarish and directed by Upendra.[2] After graduating, Abhishek expressed his interest in acting with his parents.[3] Producer Sandesh Nagaraj approached Abhishek and offered him a film by considering Chethan Kumar or Nagashekar of Myna fame as director. The latter was finalized and there were around seven working titles for the film before choosing Amar.[4]. The film was under production in January 2019. Personal lifeAbhishek was born on 3 October 1993 in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India to actors Ambarish and Sumalatha.[5] Filmography
