词条 Abner-Drury Brewery
释义

  1. References

The Abner-Drury Brewery (1898-1936) was a brewery in the Foggy Bottom neighborhood of Washington, D.C.[1] Unlike many of the breweries in Washington, the brewery had a brewer of Irish descent, Peter Drury.[2]

It was one of two pre-Prohibition breweries to re-open in Washington after Prohibition (along with the Christian Heurich Brewing Company). Given the changed landscape of brewing after Prohibition and the rise of national bottled shipping brewers, the Abner-Drury Brewery had trouble competing. It closed in 1936.[3]
