It is native to Western Australia.[1] The erect shrub has green [phyllode]]s that are {{convert|4|to|5|mm|in|3}} long and {{convert|2|to|3|mm|in|3|abbr=on}} wide. The simple inflorescences are yellow and spherical and later form into straight linear seed pods with a width of around {{convert|4|mm|in|3|abbr=on}}.[1] See also
