It is native to an area in the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia in the IBRA Avon Wheatbelt.[1] The open spindly shrub typically grows to a height of {{convert|2|to|4|m|ft|1}}. It blooms from April to June and produces yellow-cream flowers.
