Adriana Luciana Salvatore Armendariz (born 9 June 1974, Guayaquil) is an Ecuadorian athlete of Italian descent. The highlight of her career was winning the gold medals in 400 and 800 meter freestyle swimming at the 1990 South American Games in Peru.

Career

Salvatore began her sports career at the swimming academy of Gastón Thoret at the age of seven, inspired by fellow Ecuadorian Mariuxi Febres Cordero. She retired from swimming at 16 after winning her two gold medals at the 1990 South American Games.
