词条 | African communalism |
释义 |
African communalism refers to the traditional way rural areas of Africa have been functioning in the past. In Africa, society existed for decades without formal hierarchies, with equal access to land and river for all, in a way that resembles forms of egalitarianism and socialism. Some elements of this way of life, persist till present days. The term communalism was coined by libertarian philosopher Murray Bookchin.[1] References1. ^{{cite journal | last=Etta | first=Emmanuel E. | last2=Esowe | first2=Dimgba Dimgba | last3=Asukwo | first3=Offiong O. | title=African communalism and globalization | journal=African Research Review | publisher=African Journals Online (AJOL) | volume=10 | issue=3 | date=2016-06-06 | issn=2070-0083 | doi=10.4314/afrrev.v10i3.20 | page=302}} {{Anthropology-stub}} 2 : Social anthropology|African society |
