Club careerMendez made his professional debut in a 1–0 win against Orange County SC on August 3, 2017 coming on as a 34th-minute substitute for Andre Ulrich Zanga.[1] International careerMendez is playing for the USMNT U-20 squad, although he remains eligible to play for Mexico.[2] Mendez scored both goals, as USA defeated Mexico 2-0 in the CONCACAF U-20 Championship on 21 November 2018, in Bradenton, FL.
