Wells signed with the Baltimore Orioles as an international free agent in July 2015.[1] He made his professional debut in 2016 with the Aberdeen IronBirds,[2] and spent the whole season there, posting a 4-5 record, 2.15 ERA, and a 0.91 WHIP.
