It is located on the Queiq Plain, {{convert|9|km|mi}} east of Azaz, {{cvt|40|km|mi}} north of the city of Aleppo, and {{cvt|8|km|mi}} south of the border to the Turkish province of Kilis. The village administratively belongs to Nahiya Azaz in Azaz District. Nearby localities include Nayarah {{cvt|3|km|mi}} to the west, and Yahmul {{cvt|2|km|mi}} to the south.
