| Ship notes= }} | The Alger class was a class of protected cruisers of the French Navy. The class comprised Alger, Isly and Jean Bart. DesignThe ships of the class were {{convert|105|m|ftin|0}} long, had a beam of {{convert|12.98|m|ftin|0}}, a draught of {{convert|6.1|m|ftin|0}}, and had a displacement of 4,313 ton.
