According to the Federal Statistical Office of Germany, as of 2016, there are a total 21,320 Algeria-born immigrants living in Germany. Of those, 1,170 individuals were granted asylum status.[1] In a BKA report on statistics from 2017, migrants to Germany from Algeria constituted 1.0% of all migrants and 3.7% of all migrant crime suspects.[2] See also
