He is the joint secretary general of BNP.[1] CareerAman started his political career in the Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal. He served as the General Secretary of Dhaka University Central Students' Union. He was first elected as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Dhaka-3 at the 1991 general election. Aman was re-elected at the 1996 and 2001 general elections.
