Dalton is from San Antonio, Texas. A pro gamer (as "Athena Twin"), in 2007 she was ranked in the top 10 players of Fight Night.[1] In 2002, with her twin sister, Amy Brady, Dalton co-founded PMS Clan Inc., one of the oldest and largest competitive gaming communities for women. It was once the largest clan for the Xbox Live platform.[2][3][4][5] In the present day, it has 57,588 unique members. Topics in the PMS Clan forum include: Tech talk, clan pages for various games, and sub-subsections for PC, PlayStation and the Xbox for discussing various games. Dalton handed over the management of PMS Clan to Regina Wu in 2013.[5][6] She has been the main face of the clan; in 2005, MTV had her demonstrate the Xbox 360 console,[7] and Next Generation Business named her one of the "Game Industry's 100 Most Influential Women" for the organization's work at dispelling stereotypes about women in gaming and creating a safe space for female gamers.[8] Dalton left a job in finance to concentrate on pro gaming and to run PMS Clan, which she self-funded until she attracted sponsorship and incorporated.[1][2] Since 2011, she has worked at Twitch.tv, where she is director of Marketing Events.[6][9] References1. ^1 {{cite news |first=Alex |last=Pham |agency=Tribune News Services: Los Angeles Times |url=http://articles.chicagotribune.com/2007-09-10/business/0709080016_1_women-gamers-pms-clan-women-and-girls |title=Women carve out place in the video game space |newspaper=Chicago Tribune |date=September 7, 2007 }} 2. ^1 {{cite news |first=Isaiah |last=Thompson |url=http://www.miaminewtimes.com/news/got-game-6365636 |title=Got Game |newspaper=Miami New Times |date=February 8, 2007 |accessdate=March 9, 2016 }} 3. ^{{cite news |first=Melissa |last=Castellanos |url=http://www.cbsnews.com/news/women-stepping-up-their-game/ |title=Women Stepping Up Their Game |publisher=CBS News |date=November 13, 2007 |accessdate=March 9, 2016 }} 4. ^{{cite news |first=Darren |last=Gladstone |url=http://www.pcworld.com/article/150420/casualfridaylanparty.html |title=Casual Friday: LAN Party Survival Guide |work=PC World |date=August 28, 2008 |accessdate=March 9, 2016 }} 5. ^1 {{cite news |url=http://www.fastcompany.com/3021963/most-creative-people/the-girl-gamers-of-pms-clan-can-own-you-any-time-of-the-month|title=The Girl Gamers Of PMS Clan Can Pwn You Any Time Of The Month |last=Truong |first=Alice|date=November 22, 2013 |work=Fast Company |accessdate=9 March 2016}} 6. ^1 {{cite web|url=https://www.vg247.com/2013/08/27/twitch-announces-massive-pax-prime-schedule/ |title=Twitch announces massive PAX Prime schedule |last=Nunneley |first=Stephanie |date=August 27, 2013 |publisher=VG247 |accessdate=March 9, 2016}} 7. ^{{cite news |first=Neil |last=Drumming |url=http://www.ew.com/article/2005/09/09/meet-new-queens-halo-tourney |title=Meet the new queens of the 'Halo' tourney |newspaper=Entertainment Weekly |date=September 9, 2005 |accessdate=March 9, 2016 }} 8. ^{{cite book |first=Jutta |last=Zaremba |title="The Gender-Offensive: Female Gaming Cultures Between Shooters and Marketing" |work=Computer Games and New Media Cultures: A Handbook of Digital Games Studies |editor1-first=Johannes |editor1-last=Fromme |editor2-first=Alexander |editor2-last=Unger |location=Dordrecht / New York |publisher=Springer |year=2012 |isbn=9789400727779 |url=https://books.google.com/books?id=lMTKQd59Y1IC&pg=PA458&lpg=PA458&dq=%22Amber+Dalton%22+PMS&source=bl&ots=aU9ygrJu79&sig=9VY2vj5bd3nY5xPeJ2aellzgczQ&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwj8sKyoq7TLAhVO9GMKHcuwBpcQ6AEIXjAN#v=onepage&q=%22Amber%20Dalton%22%20PMS&f=false |page=458 }} 9. ^{{cite web |url=http://blog.twitch.tv/2014/08/a-day-in-the-life-at-twitch-amber-dalton-director-of-marketing-events/ |work=Official blog |title=A Day in the Life at Twitch – Amber Dalton, Director of Marketing Events |publisher=Twitch |date=August 4, 2014 |accessdate=March 9, 2016 }} External links
