Amy Hathaway (born 1974) is an American actress. She has appeared in the films Mutts, and Forbidden Subjects. She had major co-starring roles in Last Exit to Earth, Joyride, and Gemini Rising. She is also known for her role as Shelby Haskell in the popular series My Two Dads. Personal lifeHathaway was married to Derick Martini from 2001 to 2003. Between 2002 and 2004, she attended the Santa Monica College and then, studied at the University of California and earned a degree in biological sciences. She is the great-granddaughter of a survivor of the Titanic sinking. Hathaway ended up marrying Naveen Jeereddi who she went to school with in the fourth grade at Chandler School. Years later they reconnected on Facebook and from there dated and eventually got married.[1] She is an honorary member of "The New Hollywood" Women's Goal Group Inc., which was founded by actress Brianna Brown.[2] Career1980s to 1990sHathaway made her debut in film in the year 1988, in the television film Mutts.[3][4] In 1989, she acted in the film Forbidden Subjects which starred Charles Bronson.[5] Her role was Rita Crowe which was the daughter of Bronson's character, LAPD Vice Squad detective Lt. Crowe.[6] From 1987 to 1990, Hathaway played the part of Shelby Haskell in the sitcom series My Two Dads which starred Paul Reiser and Greg Evigan.[7] in 1991, she appeared in an episode of The Wonder Years. In the show's episode, Frank and Denise , she played Denise Lavelle aka Denise "The Grease". She is in a solid relationship with Frank Stanavukovic aka Frank "The Stank" (played by Noah Blake). The relationship becomes strained when Kevin helps Denise with a poem and causes Frank to become Jealous.[8][9] In 1996, Hathaway co-starred as Kali in the Katt Shea directed sci-fi feature Last Exit to Earth.[10] In 1997, she played the part of Tanya in Joyride. Her character, which was described as ravishing young hussy, was the daughter of a slimey man played by Adam West who exploits her in a devious manner to entrap men. She later teams up with a young man who steals a car.[11][12] One of Hathaway’s last feature film roles for the 1990s was in the Bryan Cranston directed Last Chance which was released in 1999.[13] 2000sHathaway co-starred in the film Smiling Fish and Goat on Fire, released in 2000. It was a film about two brothers, very different types who have issues with the women they have relationships with.[14] She played a troubled lady called Allison who is the girlfriend of Chris, the accountant, played by Derick Martini. When they are intimate she cries.[15][16][17] She played the part of Lynn in Sven Pape's comedy L.A. Twister that was released in 2004. The film also starred Zack Ward, Tony Daly and Jennifer Aspen.[18] In 2009, she appeared as Lauren in Walking Back the Cat which was an episode of The Closer.[19][20] In 2013, she co-starred in the sci-fi thriller Gemini Rising which starred Lance Henriksen.[21] Other WorkHathaway is currently a board adviser and stock holder in iDream Media Inc.
