词条 | Androcleides |
释义 |
Androcleides was bribed by Timocrates, the emissary of Tissaphernes, in 395, in order to induce the Thebans to make war upon the Spartans and thus bring back Agesilaus from Asia.[2][3][4] In 382 the Spartan commander Phoebidas, stationed at Thespiae, urged the Spartan faction of Thebes to take over the citadel of Thebes known as the Cadmeia. The democratic leaders of the Theban faction, Androcleides and Pherenicus, escaped to Athens as exiles. One of leaders of the Spartan faction of Thebes, Leontiades, later had Androcleides assassinated during his exile.[5][6] Notes1. ^{{cite book | last =Plutarch | first= | authorlink =Plutarch | title =Lives that Made Greek History | publisher =Hackett Publishing | date =2012 | pages =193 | url =https://books.google.com/books?id=L-vKz31yqeQC | isbn = 1603849157 }} {{DGRBM|author=WS|title=Androcleides|volume=1|page=171|url=http://quod.lib.umich.edu/m/moa/acl3129.0001.001/186}}{{authority control}}{{AncientGreece-bio-stub}}2. ^Xenophon, Hellenica ii. 5. § 1 3. ^Plutarch, Lysander 27 4. ^Pausanias, Description of Greece iii. 9. § 4 5. ^{{cite book | last =Todd | first =S.C. | title =Lysias | publisher =University of Texas Press | date =2010 | location =Austin | pages =352–353 | url =https://books.google.com/books?id=EFdfAgAAQBAJ | isbn = 0292773684 }} 6. ^Xenophon, Hellenica v. 2. § 31 2 : 4th-century BC Greek people|Ancient Thebans |
