HistoryOn March 13, 2019, Google released the first beta of Android Q exclusively on their Pixel phones. The beta was extended to first generation Google Pixel devices due to popular demand.[3] A total of six beta/release candidate versions are planned for release before the final release, which is currently scheduled for the third quarter of 2019.[2][5] According to Android Police, more phones will support the Android Q beta this year compared to the previous Android Pie beta.[6] See also
