}}Annette Vissing-Jorgensen is the Arno A. Rayner Chair in Finance and Management at University of California, Berkeley Haas School of Business. Her research focuses on empirical asset pricing, monetary policy, household finance, and entrepreneurship, and it spans both asset pricing and corporate finance.^[1]

Education

Vissing-Jorgensen received a B.A., Economics, 1993, from the University of Aarhus, Denmark, followed by a M.Sc., Economics, 1994, from the University of Warwick, England, with her thesis, "Chartist Behavior in the Foreign Exchange Markets - Theory and Evidence". She then receive a Ph.D., Economics, 1998, from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA, with a thesis "Limited Stock Market Participation".^[2]
