It is found in Amazonas in Brazil and in the Guianas.[1] Adults are pale cinereous (ash-gray) straw colour, the forewings with a fawn-coloured basal patch, which is accompanied by black streaks. There is a black point in the disk beyond the middle and the exterior space is fawn coloured, whitish streaked and traversed by an outward-curved whitish line. The marginal points are black and whitish bordered. The hindwings are whitish, with the exterior part tinged with pale fawn colour.[2] References1. ^{{cite web |last=Savela |first=Markku |url=http://ftp.funet.fi/pub/sci/bio/life/insecta/lepidoptera/ditrysia/gelechioidea/depressariidae/stenomatinae/antaeotricha/#adjunctella |title=Antaeotricha adjunctella (Walker, 1864) |website=Lepidoptera and Some Other Life Forms |accessdate=February 2, 2018}} {{Taxonbar|from=Q13376715}}{{Antaeotricha-stub}}2. ^[https://archive.org/stream/listofspecimenso2930brit#page/726/mode/1up List of the Specimens of Lepidopterous Insects in the Collection of the British Museum 29: 726] 3 : Moths described in 1864|Antaeotricha|Moths of South America |
